This handsome boy is Bruno. He is a mixed breed who appears to have Plott Hound and possibly Great Dane or Doberman in him. He is a hilarious and goofy 7 month old puppy that just wants to have fun. He thinks life if great and lives it to the fullest every day. Bruno is high energy and likes to keep his mind busy. He likes to run and jump and would benefit from a large yard or an active person for daily exercise.  He is food motivated and enjoys doing tricks for a high quality treat. Daily consistency in his training is important to remind him of his puppy manners. Bruno is learning not to jump on people and to sit for attention instead. He is also learning to wait at the door when it is opened. Bruno is already crate trained and is used to waiting at home in his crate when you are gone.

Bruno trots happily during his daily walks. He also enjoys putting his nose to the ground to sniff all the smells. Bruno has a great time playing with other rambunctious dogs who match his play style. If you have a dog at home, we highly recommend you bring them to meet Bruno to make sure Bruno’s play style is not too much for your dog. 

As fun and silly as Bruno is, he also wants to guard his toys and food, so an adult home would be best for Bruno. He has been doing well with his behavior training around his toys and food and is learning to trust his person around his food. Bruno’s adoption includes free training classes at My Fantastic Friend Dog Training in Ellicott City, MD.  Otherwise he has a playful and goofy personality. He likes to chase bouncing toys and enjoys playing in water too.  After playtime he will cuddle with you and put his head right in your lap.
