Cooper is a male, American Foxhound mix who looks to be 4-6 years old.  We can also see Labrador qualities in his face, especially when he carries his toy around. Cooper is a lovely dog when you are inside and everyone is being calm.  He just hangs out with us in our office and likes to lay near you.  He will go up and say hi to visitors too.  Cooper gets excited easily, so he needs a calm and consistent home who can work with him and remind him. He loves to go for walks and is able to walk nicely, but can get excited when seeing other animals. He will need a calm, commanding owner to show him the ropes.  He does great with female dogs and puppies. He is extremely obedient and very food motivated.  Even in his excited moments, you can immediately get his attention with a treat and he will sit right in front of you.  He learned paw in 5 minutes and learned "Other Paw" in less than that.  He is really unhappy in the kennel and when visitors come, it's hard for him to concentrate because he is very excited to have the break from the cage.
