This amazingly smart kitten is Irene. She is only 12 weeks old. Irene has settled right into her stay with us. She is being friendly, playful and absolutely loves attention. You would never know she was so scared when she first came to us. She learned very quickly how much fun it is to chase toys and how great it is to get attention. Irene would be more comfortable in an adult home or a home with older children who understand to be gentle so she doesn’t get nervous. She starts purring and making biscuits the moment you talk to her and pet her and she even starting licking your hand and cleaning you. She is so adorable. She even rolls upside down to get your attention when you stop petting her. Irene is active and would enjoys playtime or another kitty to play with her. She is lovely.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
Animal Viewing Hours: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month) Tues 1:30-7:00 Sat 10:00-2:00 Closed on county observed Holidays and Holiday weekends.
