Minnie is a 4yr old, spayed female Bassett Hound and Chow Chow mix. Minnie has met another dog and done well. She is friendly and enjoys being out on a walk to explore. True to the Bassett Hound nature, Minnie is very food motivated. :0) On the Chow Chow side, she is a little aloof when meeting someone new, so she needs time to be introduced to new people so she knows they are okay. Minnie enjoys chasing after a toy and she will become your friend quickly if you throw a toy or give her a treat. Minnie is quiet in her kennel and she is clean in her kennel, waiting until we take her outside to potty. Minnie would do best with a confident owner who can properly introduce her to new people and would do best in a home with older teenagers who can do the same. She is loyal and bonds quickly to her people.
