Tuesday is a 6 month old, female, Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix. She is a sweet dog once she knows you and prefers to be in your lap…..all the time.  It is her favorite place.  Tuesday is timid and nervous and takes a while to adjust to a new environment.  She is sensitive to new people, new surroundings and sudden loud noises, so she would be more comfortable in a quiet home.  Tuesday does not know how to trust a new person yet. She runs when someone new comes over.  She is in need of an understanding person who will protect her and teach visitors how to gently introduce themselves to her.  If you sit on the floor, Tuesday can be coaxed over for a treat.  It is hands that she is nervous about and she seems to expect something scary to happen if she allows herself to be caught.

Once you have gained Tuesday’s trust, she will follow you all around.  She will play and be silly and run around the room too. She is a cute little companion dog and just needs time to adjust to new things. Tuesday also enjoys interacting with other small dogs. She may do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand to move slowly around her until they earn her trust.
