Lefty is a 5yr old, neutered male, Persian cat.  Lefty is a sweet, sensitive soul who just needs a home.  He is bashful and runs from dogs, kids, movements and loud noises……..Do you have a quiet home?  When things are quiet, Lefty enjoys being pet.  When he is in a comfortable area, he also enjoys being held and he is just ever so soft.  Lefty likes to security of a cardboard box for hiding when he is nervous.  As shy as he is, when you get out a stick toy with something that crinkles on the end of it, he just can’t help.  His ears perk up and he can’t take his eyes off of the toy.  Initially he is very excited about watching the toy and eventually he will try to catch it with his paw.  Hopefully once he is in a quiet home, he will feel more comfortable to play and run around. If you are not familiar with Persian cats, it is important to note that the shape of their face and their tiny nose need to be kept clean at all times. He will need his folds above his nose to be cleaned.  Once he knows you, he enjoys the attention.  It helps him bond with someone new.
