Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

About Ivy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Color: Tabby & White / Tabby
Ivy is in a foster home and is not at the shelter, please use the contact info below.  Look at those ears! Her foster mom says Ivy is sweet and sassy and spunky and barely out of kittenhood. She's currently running around the house at lighting speed like a maniac playing with her toys. Like any good cat, she loves a good nap and often takes a snooze in the windows that get full sun. She is also very affectionate. When I come home from work, she's very vocal and then we have a mandatory cuddle session (she'll climb into my lap and ask for some love). We have been known to take a quick nap together. She's also into "safety in numbers" and accompanies me into the bathroom while I shower (often sitting between the shower liner and shower curtain and peeking into make sure I'm still there). Water from any kind of faucet is of great interest to her, where does it comes from? Can she eat it?

Ivy is going to make a great cat for someone who doesn't have a bunch of other ones.  She did meet another cat and wasn't crazy about it.  She had the same reaction to a dog but after a bit of time, and the dog not paying any attention to her, curiousity got the better of Ivy and she found the dog acceptable.

Ivy has been spayed (the reason for the photo with the cone) and had initial vaccinations.  For more info, contact us at always4tucker@yahoo.com or 410 880 2488 option 3.
