Max is a three year old neutered male tuxedo cat who came into the shelter full of life and energy. His spirits were high and he was hopeful the shelter would be his temporary home. Unfortunately, Max has been here over two months and Max is still calling the shelter home. At the moment, he is not a lap cat. Max lets you know when he’s had enough by batting at you, without using his claws of course. He enjoys an independent lifestyle and shows affection on his own terms. For these reasons we think he will do best in an adult only, cat savvy home. Here at the shelter Max met with a calm smaller dog and was curious. With a proper introduction we think he will do well with a dog in the home. Staff and volunteers alike have completely fallen for this sweet boy and can’t understand why he is still here.
