Hi Everyone!

My name is Rose. I am an 8 week old female Siamese kitten. I arrived at the shelter when I was approximately 2 weeks old. Both of my eyes hurt really bad. The humans said I had a bad infection in both eyes and they weren’t sure if I was able to see. I was taken home by a staff member who became my foster mom. She is the best! She gave me round the clock care and got one of my eyes to open. I still couldn’t get my right eye open though. My foster mom took me back to the vet where I underwent minor surgery to have my eye opened. I have very little sight, and I can make out shadows and some movement. But that doesn’t stop me! I love to play and I’d love a home with another cat for me to play with. I get confused about what’s in front of my face and tend to use my mouth to figure it out. Please don’t put your face too close to mine, I don’t want to accidently bite or scratch you. I am currently on several eye medications and still require round the clock care. My foster mom takes me home every evening and on weekends so she can give me my medication. I will have to see a special doctor once I am adopted to see if I will qualify for more surgery to open my eye further and to determine my depth of vision. I am a special kitten that requires a special adopter. Call the shelter to check on my availability if you are interested in being my forever home!
