Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

About Ollie

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
Ollie is a handsome boy who is in a foster home in our rescue program.  Please use the contact info below.  He is about 60 pounds, just loves getting attention and at 8 years old, is really in his prime.  Old enough that he is calm and responsive, but young enough to enjoy walking and a good play session--check out the videos below!

Ollie and Harriett (also shown on our site) were turned into a shelter together, and are like two peas in a pod.  We are really hoping they can be adopted together, since their lives have already been disrupted enough.  This is a case of "two dogs are better than one" and they can keep each other occupied when you can't.  Both adore being petted and loved by people.  If you want a ready made pair of easy dogs, you must meet Ollie and Harriett.

Ollie was so matted that we had to shave his coat off, but we think he looks pretty cute with his new doo.

This pair was in a very full shelter for 2 months, but because of their wonderful temperaments, they were kept alive.  The minute our volunteers met them, they knew that Animal Advocates had to help.

They are spayed and neutered, current on vaccines, have been dewormed and flea treated, are negative for heartworms and on preventative, and will be microchipped prior to adoption.

To talk more about Ollie and Harriett, or to visit with them, please call 410.880.2488 ext #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.com.

After we brought Ollie and Harriett into our rescue program, we received the following email, complete with videos--thank you Amy!

"Thank you so much for saving this sweet couple!!  I volunteer at the shelter and quickly fell for these two beauties when I met them.  I have a couple You Tube videos of them The videos really show how 'young' they act and how sweet they are!

Thanks again for rescuing this very, very special couple who stole the hearts of so many workers and volunteers at the shelter!!
