Darling Ava is a female, 8 week old kitten who needs a special, gentle home. Ava is not used to being around people yet. She is scared and wants to back away and hide. It will take Ava some time to get used to new people and new surroundings at a home. She would appreciate a covered cat bed so she can hide and feel safe. She would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand how to read her behavior. If you ignore her hissing and move slowly, just give her a little scratch on her chin and cheek she will slowly get used to your touch. She is so precious and just scared. She needs lots of love from someone who will sit with her and just spend time near her. You can use high reward treats like pieces of boiled chicken or some cheese. She just needs someone to give her a chance to learn how great life can be living with a person. She is so beautiful and will be well worth the effort once she starts choosing to come over to you for food and rub on you. Once you are her person, you will see her eyes relax and she will understand that people are good to her.  Come on by to meet this baby girl. After some time, she will get used to her new family members.
