Luzianne is a super sweet and sensitive, mixed breed female puppy who is looking for a gentle home. She is about 7 months old and appears to have some American Pit Bull Terrier in her. She needs basic puppy training, however she needs you to coax her and use positive training. Luzianne cowers when you move your hands too fast toward her or if you raise your voice. She has the sweetest personality and wants to please you though so if you use your happy voice, she will learn quickly. She wants to cuddle and she will come right up to you with her sweet face and lay with you once she trusts you. Luzianne likes to run around with other dogs to play. If you have a dog at home you can bring them for a visit to see if Luzianne would be a good match for them. Due to landlord and insurance pet policies, Luzianne’s adoption requires you to own your home. She would also do very well with a fenced yard to keep her safe at home during potty training and exercising in the yard.
Our shelter is now open for visiting adoptable animals during our animal viewing hours: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
