Ella is an adorable, mixed breed dog who has the sweetest personality. She is submissive, affectionate and wants to lay in your lap if you let her. She is loyal and obedient and just a great companion. She is very smart and knows sit and wait.  Ella has been around male dogs and gotten along well. If you have a dog at home, it is best you bring them by the shelter during our animal viewing hours to see if they will be a good match for each other. Ella is used to waiting at home in her crate when left alone. She enjoys a soft dog bed at night. Ella is used to being at home for 8 hours during the day and has done well waiting to go potty until taken outside. She is just such a good girl, even good for her baths. She rides well in the car and she definitely will enjoy being with her person.  She also enjoys playing with toys and running around in the yard. Due to landlord and insurance pet policies, Ella’s adoption requires you to own your home.  She would also do very well with a fenced yard to keep her safe at home while exercising. Ella also has times that she is nervous with handling and would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand how to recognize if she is nervous.
