Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

This handsome lug is Leo and he is a cool cat looking for a cat savvy home. Sometimes he loves attention and can be very affectionate. He is a big kitten at 1yr old and needs you to exercise him each day. Leo also has times where he is independent and happy to be on his own. He would do best in an adult only home or a home with older teenagers who understand if he is enjoying their attention of if he would rather be left alone.  Spending time with him will help you learn where he likes being pet and where he doesn’t.  Leo will come right over, if you get down on his level, and rub his cheeks on you to say hi when you get home. He communicates very well and lets you know if he wants you to stop petting him. Leo is active and likes to play and climb. He would enjoy multiple tall cat trees for exploring. He will enjoy inspecting bookshelves and window sills too. Leo is super sweet and rolls around upside down when you are petting him to show you his happiness. He has a tendency to play rough if he does not get enough active playtime, like chasing string toys or laser lights.  Leo has been very good about using his litter box at his previous home and here at the shelter. He lived with older children and got along well with them. Leo has been around dogs and has not had a negative reaction. If you have a dog at home that is respectful, Leo may do well after a slow introduction.  Leo enjoys being held and is quite laid back when he is feeling calm.

Our shelter is now open for visiting adoptable animals during our animal viewing hours:
Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30
Tues 1:30-7:00
Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
