Declyn is a male kitten looking for a special home. On one hand, Declyn is so very nervous and still getting used to being around people. If you move very slowly and talk to him gently, he will lay down while you pet him. Declyn will enjoy having a bedroom with some hiding spots in case something scared him. He likes to have a covered tent kitty bed. He would be most comfortable in a quiet adult home so he can have some time to get used to all the new sounds and smells. Now, when Declyn has his playtime with other kittens here, we see a completely different side of him. He is quite the rough player and likes to pounce and play very rough. If you have a pet at home that can handle that kind of rough play, Declyn would enjoy the interaction. If you do not have another pet at home, once Declyn gets used to you, he will be ready to have his playtime with you and will need string toys and bouncing toys to keep him occupied. Declyn is like a little flower and he needs someone to help him blossom into a confident kitty that can learn to enjoy to play around people.
Our shelter is now open for regular visiting during our visiting hours: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
