Flora is an approximately 1 year old female Gecko. Flora was going to be abandoned by her previous owner, when a friend stepped in to bring her to the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Flora will love to find a home with Gecko or lizard experience. She will need a terrarium set up that is more vertical than horizontal for her to climb. Flora’s family will have to continue to get her accustomed to being handled and they will need to monitor her eating habits. She loves to munch on gut loaded crickets and other tasty Gecko treats. Our shelter is now open for visiting adoptable animals during our animal viewing hours: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
