We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Affectionate, bashful, loving and cuddly are the best qualities of this young boy. This is a Koha and he will shower you with loyalty if you choose him. Koha can be nervous in new situations sometimes where he will bark. He needs someone who will lead him and tell him everything is okay and show Koha that you will keep him safe. He listens well and comes right over, climbing into your lap for snuggles. Koha is very smart and is doing very well learning his basic doggy manners like sit, wait and come here. He would benefit from you taking him out to meet gentle, dog friendly people to further show him how he can trust us and he doesn’t have to worry. He is very strong and next he needs to be shown leash training to learn to walk with you. It is adorable to see how happy Koha is being around another female dog. He hops around, following her and wanting to play. Koha listens well to her too once she is done playing. He likes when the other dog runs and wants him to chase them. Koha likes his toys and gets cute and silly with them. Koha was introduced to a very small kitten. He sat and sniffed her and wanted to interact with her. Koha is a mixed breed dog. He looks like he has some American Pit Bull Terrier in him. He is still just a puppy at 11-12 months old. Due to landlord and insurance pet policies, Koha’s adoption requires you to own your home. The adoption also requires you to have a fenced yard to keep him safe at home while he is exercising.
Our shelter is now open for regular visiting during our visiting hours: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
