Misty is a 5 year old spayed female German Shepherd. Misty is an active girl and absolutely loves to play fetch. Whether with a ball, stick, or a frisbee; Misty will run full speed to retrieve it. In her previous home, Misty was housebroken and is used to being left in the home for about 4 hours at a time by herself. Misty never lived with a cat, another dog, or children. She did however, interact with children ages 4-19 years old and other dogs and got along with everyone. She is weary of the hose and lawnmower, so she wouldn’t make an ideal gardening partner. Misty is hoping to find an active forever family that can take her on long walks or one that has a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch to her heart’s content. To become Misty’s forever family, be sure to visit the shelter during animal viewing hours to start the adoption process.
Our shelter is now open for visiting adoptable animals during our animal viewing hours: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
