Winston is a 16lbs, black Miniature Schnauzer mix who is gentle and bashful. Winston is about 7yrs old and is looking for a quiet, gentle home. He would be most comfortable in an adult home or a home with older children who understand when he is nervous. Winston enjoys being around people who are quiet and who move slowly around him. He is very loyal and listens well once he knows you. He has lived as the only dog in his previous home so we do not know how he does with other dogs. If you have a dog at home, you can bring them by during our animal viewing hours to have them meet and see if they will be a good match. Winston did very well in his previous home waiting to go potty until taken outside. He was trusted alone in the house when left. He liked to play with rope toys too. He was a chipper companion. We have not gotten to see this side of Winston yet. He is unsure of his new surroundings here. If you have the time and patience to give this sweet boy, he will surely take place right in your heart.

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
