Tucker is a very friendly and affectionate dog with a big heart. He is young, fun and enjoys running and playing with his family. Tucker sometimes forgets his size and he gets too goofy, jumping up on you. Since he tends to jump when he greets people, he may be too much for small children as he will knock them down. He does well when you practice training at home and you remind him to sit instead of jump up.  Tucker is only 11-12 months old. He is a tall "All American Mix" (mix of many breeds) and he weighs 65lbs so far. He appears to have some Alaskan Malamute in him. For websites requiring a breed, we will call him a Malamute mix. He also has an adorable head tilt that he was born with. 

Tucker is very smart and attentive, making great eye contact for training. He learned to sit and wait quickly.  Tucker has enjoyed being around female dogs at the shelter. He runs and has lots of energy. He has a rough play style with other dogs. If you have a dog at home, you can bring them by during our animal viewing hours to meet Tucker in our yard to see if their playstyles match. Tucker will need exercise every day to keep him occupied and he is ready to continue his training with his new family. Tucker has been vocal when left alone and he hears other people or dogs so he may not do well in an attached home like an apartment, condo or townhome. His biggest wishes are a large fenced yard for running and a loving family who will give him lots of attention. He is a lovely companion.
