This sweetie is a medium sized dog who is very affectionate and loyal. This is Reeses and she is an 11 month old mixed breed dog with some American Pit Bull Terrier in her. Reeses loves to play and having 3 legs does not slow her down. She enjoys going for adventures with her family.  She has been around children and other dogs and gets along well. Reeses has done very well waiting at home for 6-8 hours when you leave. She is crate trained if she needs it, however she has been trusted loose in the house when left alone. Reese is easy to handle and attaches to her person quickly. Reeses knows sit, down, paw, treat, outside and go potty. She loves to hear “Good Girl” and she has an adorable head tilt if you make cute noises. She is nervous about the car but she is loyal and smart. If you coax her into the car and practice her training, giving her treats, you can show her that she is safe in the car.

Due to landlord and insurance pet policies, Reese’s adoption requires you to own your home. A fenced yard is currently required for her, however if your yard is not fenced you can give us a call at the shelter to see if your home situation would be a good match for her.
