Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

My name is Dumpling and I am really hoping someone with a quiet house will come rescue me. I used to live with other cats and I enjoyed playing with them.  I want to hide from new people but the volunteers here assure me that if I’m just patient, someone will come along and choose me. I have a cardboard hiding box with a soft bed. I feel safer when I can get in my box when I hear a new sound that scares me. Once I know you, I am very affectionate and I really enjoy sitting with you.  I like to be held and I will hide my head under your arm.  I have a loud purr and as much as I try to hold it in, my purr comes out when people pet me gently here. During playtime, I like to chase little toy mice or a bouncing plastic ball. I am about 7yrs old and I have medium length hair . I will need brushing to keep my hair from tangling and I just love the extra attention anyways. Due to Dumpling’s sensitive nature, she would be most comfortable in a quiet adult home with no dogs.

I may need you to sit on the floor with me when I first get to your home. I know it will be very scary to be in a new surrounding and it may take me some time to get used to all the smells and sounds.  I can take my cardboard box with me to feel safe, so I have something familiar until I get used to your home.  Everyone likes my sweet face and my happy purr.  I would prefer an quiet, adult home with no dogs.
