If you have a quiet home and you are looking for a very affectionate cat who still likes to chase string toys, come on by to meet Salem. He is a neutered male who is 7yrs old and looks like a British Shorthair mix. His pictures do not show how handsome he is in person with his deep colored fur and his sweet big cheeks. Salem is nervous at first but he really likes attention. All you have to do is slowly talk to him and coax him. He comes over because he wants attention. Since Salem is unsure of quick movements and loud noises, he would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand to be gentle around him. Salem is curious once he knows you and will follow you around to see what you are doing. He has a cute, playful side and likes to use his paw to try to catch a string toy if you move it around in front of him.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
