We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.
Lucy and Ethel are young, female, Guinea Pigs who are bonded and get along well. Lucy is the brown one and she has a hilarious personality. She is cute, happy, bouncy and loves to play and explore. She even likes to climb up on wooden boxes or play “queen of the rock” if you put a rock in her habitat. Ethel is so sweet and gentle. She follows Lucy’s lead and feels more comfortable when she has her sister nearby. Lucy and Ethel enjoy running around out of the cage daily in a guinea pig safe zone. They like cardboard boxes with holes cut out of them to pop in and out while playing. Once they get used to you, Lucy and Ethel enjoy being rubbed behind their ears. They will both sit with you wrapped in a blanket while you watch TV or read a book. They enjoy chewing on their vegetables.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
