Sierra is a lovely, young dog who is very sweet and loving. She has a medium energy level and she has played well with other dogs. Sierra can be cautious just for a moment sometimes, so she needs someone who will let her know she is safe. All you have to do is talk to her and she comes over to say hi, wagging her tail and leaning her whole body against you. Sierra even saw some kittens and didn’t pay them any mind. Sierra is a medium to large dog at 50lbs. She is only 1yr old and is a mixed breed. She looks to have some American Pit Bull Terrier in her and due to landlord and insurance pet policies, Sierra’s adoption requires you to own your home.  A fenced yard is currently required for her, however if your yard is not fenced you can give us a call at the shelter to see if your home situation would be a good match for Sierra.  If you are looking for a loving, loyal companion who is smart and trainable, this sweetheart might just be your match. Sierra tries to give you kisses and will jump right up to get closer to you. She is learning that we would prefer her to sit first though. :0)

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
