This is our lovely Maple. She is a friendly dog who likes to be with people. She thinks everyone she meets is her best friend.  Maple’s request for you is a large soft dog bed and lots of soft toys for her to carry around. Maple has been with us for 3 long years while she patiently waited for a litigation appeal. She is finally ready for her very own home. Maple is affectionate and likes to cuddle with you. This sweet girl is so easy to love and now she just wants a place to call home.

Maple is 10yrs old, spayed and laid back. Her favorite game is to play fetch but she has to go easy on her 10yr old back, so we have to watch that she doesn't play too hard.  Maple is on a diet and doing well to shed her extra pounds from all the extra love she has gotten here at the shelter. Her back bothers her sometimes, so getting the extra weight off will help her. Maple deserves to be pampered and loved in her retirement.

Maple has been around other dogs, however she is an in charge type of dog. She would only do well with another dog if they respect her and submit to her.  She will not want the other dog near her toys and she always has a toy she is carrying around. She always makes us smile when she hangs out with us. She is adorable when she gets more then one toy in her mouth. If she cannot find a toy, she will hold your glove or something else if you let her. :0)

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
