Peanut is a 2yr old male Guinea Pig who is Mr. Personality. He comes right over to say hi and is outgoing when he is in his cage. Peanut likes to come over and follow you around. He plays in cardboard boxes and likes to chew on his Guinea Pig toys. Peanut prefers to play with you while he is on the floor. He is not used to being handled. Once he is tired though, he will snuggle up with you in a blanket and nibble on a piece of a carrot. What a lovely boy! Peanut has been known to nibble while he is held, so children should interact with him after an adult get him out of the cage.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
