Lydia is an 8 week old, female kitten who is funny. One moment she will be shy and unsure, then she will be curious and explore and then she will give you an annoyed meow if you pet her too soon. She communicates well how she is feeling and you can help her get more confidence by playing gently with cat toys. They can be a good connection to her bonding with you. She is not ready for cuddling yet. She is still getting used to people touching her. If you can spend time with her and find out how she likes to be pet, she will bond with you faster. Lydia would be a good match for an adult home or a home with older children who understand how to go slow and help her feel comfortable.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
