Chance is a lovely, happy little mixed breed dog who weighs 30lbs. Chance may have some Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Pit Bull Terrier and some Beagle in there too. Chance is only 1yr old, very loyal and very smart. He is loving and once he knows you, he wants to play. After playtime, he will snuggle with you for a nap. Chance is uncertain and anxious in certain situations, but if you go slow and show him he is safe, he will slowly adjust. He needs some basic training, like sit for attention and wait at doors. He has been good with children in his home from 5-13yrs. He lived with another dog and was playful with the dog. Chance lost his home because his owner could not take care of him anymore. He is a good boy and just needs someone who will remember to show him he is safe if something makes him nervous.

Due to landlord and insurance pet breed policies, Chance’s adoption requires you to own your home.  A fenced yard is currently required for him, however if your yard is not fenced you can give us a call at the shelter to see if your home situation would be a good match for Chance. 

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
