Santos is an 8 week old, male, American Pit Bull Terrier mix. We were told he has some American Bulldog in him and he appears that he will be a large dog when full grown.  Santos is active, vocal and friendly once he knows you. He has times that he is unsure and needs you to be a leader and show him that he is safe.  If you have time for raising a puppy, Santos is ready for puppy training classes to help socialize him around other people and other dogs.

Due to landlord and insurance pet breed policies, Santos’ adoption requires you to own your home.  A fenced yard is currently required for him, however if your yard is not fenced you can give us a call at the shelter to see if your home situation would be a good match for him. 

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
