Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Beautiful Bella is a medium haired Calico colored cat who is 2yrs old. Bella is known to be laid back and cuddly in her previous home where she was the only pet. As you can imagine, a shelter is not her cup of tea since she is not used to other animals being nearby.  She has lived with children before and got along with them.  Bella is scared of hearing and seeing the other cats at the shelter to the point that she may want to be the only pet in her home. Bella is used to her family and having babies to take care of.  Yes, she had 3 litters in just 2yrs. Now that she is spayed, she is ready for some lounging in a covered cat bed or laying in the sunshine coming inside the window.  Bella’s owner could not keep her because they had to move and could not take her with them.

Bella wants to get out of the shelter and be in a real home again. She has times that she wants to be independent and times she wants attention here at the shelter. It will be lovely to see her blossom out of the shelter in a home. If you are patient and give her a bedroom at first to give her time to get used to you, Bella’s sweet personality will show quickly. She just can’t help it and wants to be loved and pet.  She would do best in a home with older children who understand how to read her behavior when she prefers to be on her own and does not want attention. Once she is used to you, she will play with a toy mouse or a bouncing ball.

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
