Your Donation Saves Lives!
We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Winter is a male, Great Pyrenees who is still a big puppy at 11 months old. Winter is affectionate with a person who has gained his trust. Winter is working on building his confidence and he needs a patient person who has experience working with a dog that is untrusting of hands. He has experienced fear in his past when someone has tried to grab him to get him to do something. Winter needs you to treat him like a puppy with no training and show him his doggy manners in a positive way. He really wants to play and interact, so it doesn’t take much to coax him out of his nervousness. He is generally friendly and wants to interact with friendly people who talk to him and pet him. He just needs to know
you are a friend first. He has done okay around calm children, however he is unsure when they get loud and silly so he may do best in a home with older children who understand how to read if he is nervous or comfortable with the situation. Winter is a love and if you have patience and time for training a large breed puppy, Winter will make a lovely companion. He would benefit from a yard for running so he can
get his exercise. He is a smart boy and just needs you to show him the world of being a dog. He would love to go on hikes once you train him to walk on leash and get in the car. He knows sit and give paw so far. He will wait if you get his attention first too.
