Blaise is a small female kitten who looks like an American Shorthair mix. Blaise is looking for a home where she will be the only cat. She is defensive when she smells or sees another cat and since we have separated her from seeing other cats, we have seen her personality blossom. She is active, friendly and likes to come over and rub on you. She wants to explore and would appreciate cat trees and window sills or book shelves. She would do best in an adult home or a home with older teenagers who understand when she is uncomfortable and needs space.  She will let you know with her body language and a hiss if something moves to quickly and scares her. Once she knows you, she is lovely and wants to play. If you give her a bedroom to start, this will help her get used to the new sounds and smells of your home so she can become your buddy faster. When the cat volunteers spend time with Blaise, she likes to get attention and play. She chases a stick toy and is getting quite good at trying to catch the toy.
