Sam is an adorable, little 3yr old, male, Guinea Pig. He likes to take naps in his guinea pig hidey hut and then come out to get his fresh veggies and exercise every day. Sam needs you to help him feel safe when he meets you. If you go slow and you are gentle, he will get used to you. Sam give a little Guinea Pig “Wheek” sound if he hears the crinkling bag of the veggies. He is lovable and smart. If you place a medium rock in his cage, he explores and like to hop up on the top. It is funny to see Sam jump up to try to reach something. (Be sure to wash the rock really well before giving it to him.) Sam lived with a child and a dog who he got along with. If you have room in your home and heart for this little guy, he is ready to get out of the shelter.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
