Adam is a 3yr old, male, Guinea Pig with adorable spikey hair of the Abyssinian breed. Adam is shy at first and just needs you to sit with him so he can get to know you. He likes to have a hidey hut and if you offer him some fresh Kale, he will be your best friend for life. Adam lived with a child and a dog and got along well with them. He likes to be around gentle people and enjoys his time out of his cage everyday for exploring cardboard boxes and Guinea Pig tunnels. He sacks on his Timothy Hay and fresh veggies too. Adam is not used to being picked up, so it startles him. If you just go slow and use a soft blanket, he will sit on your lap while you watch some tv. He prefers his tv snack to be Kale, his favorite.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
