Buckey is an adorable, 1yr old sweetheart. He is a medium sized dog and fits perfectly onto your lap when it is time to cuddle. Buckey is very loving and wants to please you. He is such a sensitive and sweet boy. Buckey likes other dogs but he can get overwhelmed by them and needs some time to get used to them. He has a buddy he plays with here at the shelter. At first Buckey was nervous of her but now he is used to her and runs around plays. If he gets to be too much, she will correct him and Buckey listens well. Buckey is a fun, goofy and good little guy. He is an American Pit Bull Terrier mix and due to landlord and insurance pet policies, Buckey’s adoption requires you to own your home.  A fenced yard is currently required for him, however if your yard is not fenced you can give us a call at the shelter to see if your home situation would be a good match for Buckey. 

NOTE: Buckey is scheduled for his neuter on Wednesday, 12/21/22. If you are visiting around this day, please call to see if he is available for a visit.

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
