Sawyer is an exceptionally sweet cat who needs a special person to help him feel safe. He likes quiet, gentle people so you can imagine how much the busy animal shelter scares this poor guy. He snuggles in his covered cat bed and when you first see him, he will hide. He allows us to pick him up even though he is unsure and when we place him in our lap, he relaxes and feels safe. Sawyer is only 3yrs old. With his bashfulness, he would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand to move very slowly around him. Quick movements and new noises make him want to run and hide. He is such a sweet boy and we hope someone will have room in their heart to bring him home soon. He closes his eyes when we rub his head and cheeks gently. Please help us share Sawyer’s story so we can find him the tranquil life that he deserves.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays. We are closed Fri Dec 23rd, Mon Dec 26th and Mon Jan 2nd.
