We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.
Max is a 3yr old, neutered male, Hound mix who weighs 40lbs. He has a sweet and sensitive personality with us. Poor guys is ready to get out of the busy shelter into a quieter home. Max is friendly and curious if you are gentle. Sometimes he is unsure and needs you to talk to him and show him he is safe. Max is cuddly once he knows you. Max was used to living with no children and no other animals, so imagine his surprise when he had to come to the animal shelter. His owner had health issues and could not longer keep Max. Now Max is hopeful to find a loving person or family to take him home. Once Max is used to you he likes to have toys and go for a ride with you in the car. He does bark when left alone so he may not be the best match for an apartment/condo/townhome. Max is trusted alone in the house and does very well waiting to go potty outside once he knows your schedule. Come on by to meet this sweetheart while we get to know him more.
