Joey is a 2yr old, neutered male, Jack Russell Terrier who is sensitive, sweet and weighs 20lbs. He is shy of the camera so please come by to see him in person if this sounds like a good match for you: Joey warms up slowly to new people. He likes when you offer him a treat to show him  you are friendly. Once he knows you, he is very active outside and likes to run every day. He likes to explore and would be a great hiking buddy. Joey would do best in an adult home because he is unsure with certain handling and needs an adult who is used to owning a dog. It is important that you can recognize if he is nervous so you can go slow and show Joey he is safe.  Joey is good in the car and likes to play fetch in the yard. He is not used to children and is nervous of them. He would do best in an adult home. He knows sit, down and stay. He likes space to run. Once you gain his trust, he is very loving and loves to be pet. He has a silly goofy side and his favorite thing is to run and play.  

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
