Shelly is an adorable, energetic Whippet mix who is 1yr old. She weighs 15lbs and is a silly puppy. Shelly is very affectionate to someone she knows. She will follow you all around and want to be right up against you rubbing her head on you for lots and lots of attention. Shelly is really afraid of new d39200 ogs and wants to be defensive to keep them away. She would feel most comfortable as the only dog. She has never been around a cat so we do not know if she will be just as scared of cats too. Shelly has not lived with children before and can be unsure sometimes when you handle her. She would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand how to tell when she is nervous. If you have time to help Shelly find her confidence in life, she is ready to get out of the busy shelter.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
