Gertie is a 5 month old, female puppy looking for a patient, loving home. Gertie is a Havanese and Bulldog mix and she is 5 months old. She will be a small to medium size when full grown. She is just a baby and needs someone with time for all of her puppy training. Gertie will cry out if you move to fast with her so she needs you to go slow and coax her over. She is ready to start socializing with other dogs and people who will be gentle around her. She is ready to attend training classes so she can learn her doggy manners. If you have time and patience for daily puppy training, come on in to meet this cutie. Since she is unsure with handling, she would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who understand how to read dog behavior. She needs some help finding her gumption when something makes her feel unsure.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
