Stormy is adorable and has quite a personality.  It has been great to see Stormy find his gumption during his stay with us. He is ready for someone to come rescue him. Stormy is only 8 months old and is a male Gerbil.  He is cute, bouncy and likes to run around his cage for exercise.  Stormy comes out to see who is visiting him and recognizes his caretakers now. He comes over to see if you have any goodies. is hoping for someone who will adopt him and give him a large home for exploring. Gerbils like branches and boxes for exploring. They also like to burrow, so a cage with bedding will make him happy too. Stormy will need a secure cage that closes tightly so he cannot find his way out. He really likes his coconut house for sleeping where he curls up for his naps. It has a hole in the room so he can peek out and see if he knows you when you walk in the room. He wakes up when you talk to him.  If you give him some cotton, he will plump it up to make a bed. Stormy is not used to someone holding him, but he is very curious. If you move slowly and talk gently, he will come over to sniff and see what you are doing. If you would enjoy giving Stormy fun play toys in his cage and you would enjoy watching him make his home, he might just be the right match for you.
