Benji is a 3yr old, male, ShihTzu mix who weighs 10lbs. Benji is friendly and Happy Go Lucky. He gets excited quickly and forgets he is not supposed to put his mouth on people. He is very vocal when left alone, so he would do best in a single home. (No apartments/condos/townhomes) Benji loves to play and will play with any toy. He is full of energy and would love to be with someone who has playful energy. Benji would do best in an adult home or a home with older children who can be part of his training to remind him of his manners when he gets excited. Benji has done well with another dog who likes to play. If you have a playful and active cat, Benji also lived with a cat too. He has been around older children and gotten along. Benji is adorable and loves to be happy. He enjoys his walks to explore.

Note: Benji will be at the vet being neutered on Wed, Feb 1^st. If you visit around this time, please call to see if he is recovered enough for you to visit.  

To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
