We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Smores is a young Gecko who appears to be an African Fat-Tailed species. So far Smores has been docile, bashful and allows us to gently handle him. When he is warm, Smores gets curious and will explore a bit too. We do not know if Smores is a male or female because Smores was abandoned. A Gecko’s lifespan can be 20+ years with proper care. They eat special crickets and special types of worms. They usually like to climb and to have enough space in their home for exploring. They also need a habitat with the proper humidity, temperature and lighting. If you have any questions about Gecko care, please give us a call and speak to our Adoption Coordinator.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
