Cheeko is a handsome boy who is curious and likes to sit and watch what you are doing. He is a cute little companion that will hang out with you. Cheeko has a laid back personality and is not a demanding cat. You can coax him to play “stick under the rug”. He likes to try to catch the stick when you push it out from under the rug. Cheeko is 5yrs old, already neutered and has adorable round cheeks. Poor Cheeko has been here long enough that his sparkle is gone. He is not enjoying his shelter experience. When he sees someone come in, he doesn’t get up anymore to come say hi. He sees so many people that pass him by and he has lost his hope of being the one you are there to adopt.  That’s okay, because our volunteers have been giving him extra love playing his favorite games and hanging out with him. Cheeko deserves a loving home where he can be King of his castle. He likes to explore window sills and cat trees.  He would enjoy a covered box for his cat naps too. He will rub on your ankles to greet you and he likes to have his ears and chin pet. He is not used to being picked up, but he tries to tolerate it when it is time to come out of his cage.  He bonds quickly and if you are gentle with him, he will give you his trust, rolling upside down to get you to talk to him or play with him. Will you come by to meet him?  Please help us spread the word that Cheeko needs a home.

having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility.
