Tyson is an absolute love. He is laid back, happy to be with people and listens very well. He will go lay down in his bed with a toy when you are busy too. Tyson is affectionate and friendly. Tyson is 2-3yrs old, already neutered and fits his 60lbs right into your lap if you sit on the floor. He is sensitive and listens if you tell him to sit, wait, down and be calm. He likes to meet people and has been out playing with small dogs and big dogs. He met a rather obnoxious female dog and he tolerated her “in your face” playstyle very well. He kept hanging out with the people in between the other dog’s running. Tyson will whine when he needs to go out to potty and goes potty on leash or in the yard right away. He has been very well behaved and will make a lovely addition to our family. Tyson is a mixed breed dog with some American Pit Bull Terrier mixed in him.
Due to landlord and insurance breed policies, this dog’s adoption requires you to own your home. A fenced yard is currently required for this dog, however if your yard is not fenced you can call and ask for our Adoption Coordinator to see if your home situation would be a good match.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Sat 10:00-2:00 Closed on Sun and County observed Holidays.
