Socrates is a true gentleman. He has a gentle, bashful personality. He is an adult, male and you will not believe his story! We received a call that someone saw him outside. This person was so kind and took it upon themselves to rescue him. He is truly a lucky boy that all that wildlife out there didn’t find him first. Now that Socrates is happy with his warm cage with a big soft bed, he is ready for a Forever Home. Socrates is bashful, so you need to move slowly and talk to him. He relaxes as you pet him ever so gently and he likes to have his ears rubbed. Socrates would appreciate a quiet home with gentle people. He enjoys his strawberry and blueberry treats.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Sat 10:00-2:00 Closed on Sun and County observed Holidays.
