Zeus is a 9 month old puppy who is looking for someone who has had recent experience owning a Shepherd type dog. He is a very affectionate boy if you remind him of his manners and keep him calm when interacting with him. He needs training boundaries established, especially for jumping. Zeus is high energy and always looking for a job. He needs to run daily to keep him happy. He is very smart and trainable. He wants to please you. He is highly food motivated and even praise motivated for training. He likes being told “Good Boy!”. Zeus forgets to keep his self-control if you let him get too excited. He will jump up, using his mouth to interact with you, so he needs you to be a step ahead of his excitement. Zeus likes to play with another dog who has his same playstyle, because he tends to play rough with them. He really likes to run and play.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Sat 10:00-2:00 Closed on Sun and County observed Holidays.
