Rufus is a handsome English coonhound mix who is already neutered and only a year old. Rufus loves to go for walks with you and likes to go explore paths or go hiking so he can use his nose and smell lots of things. He gets excited and boisterous when he is feeling silly. He is strong and jumps up so he needs reminders of his doggy manners and to be supervised around children to remind him to be gentle. He prefers to be with his owner and does not enjoy being left alone. Rufus, no sit down and Fetch. He’s very smart and likes doing tricks for tasty treats. Loves to run and play. Silly like a puppy. Rufus would enjoy being your walking buddy or your hiking buddy. He likes to play with other respectful dogs too. He will run and try to get them to chase him.
To start the adoption process for this pet, visit the shelter during our animal viewing hours. After having a visit with them, you can fill out an adoption application at our facility. Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 10:00-4:30 Tues 1:30-7:00 Closed on Sat, Sun and County observed Holidays.
