Hiro is a handsome sweetheart who loves people. He is active and hoping to find someone who will take him on walks and play with him in the yard. Hiro is only 8 months old, weighs 68lbs and is not done growing yet. He previously lived with children and a cat and got along well with them. Hiro will sit if you have a treat and he loves to run and would appreciate a big back yard for daily exercise. Hiro needs someone who will continue his training to remind him of his doggy manners. He is curious and food motivated, so you will need to keep things put away so he doesn’t get them. Hiro plays with squeaky toys and likes to go for walks too. He is strong and needs someone with time for basic dog training. Hiro barks when he is left alone and would not be a good match for an apartment/townhome/condo. He is also afraid of the car and prefers going for walks instead.

***We are accepting applications for Hiro in person at our facility. You must come in during our Animal Viewing Hours below to meet Hiro first. Then you can apply to adopt him. Applications are accepted in order of visiting.

Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month)
Tues & Thurs 1:30-7:00
Sat 10:00-2:00 (Closed on county observed holidays and holiday weekends.)
